Triennale DesignCafè in Milan is hosting, until September 11, an exhibition dedicated to one of the most glamorous accessories in fashion history: the foulard.
The exhibition displays pieces designed throughout the whole career, from 1966 to 1999, of Milan native Carla Crosta.
The foulards on display look incredibly up-to-date and fresh even if they were designed 30 years ago and that’s thanks to the wise use of colours and geometric patterns. Carla Crosta now works in her Milan studio, in the Porta Genova area, designing bags, scarfs, hats, tapestries and patchworks.
