A couple of months ago we were very pleased to present you a great project that Benetton Chile and the girls from Estanpintando∆ did in a forgotten corner of Santiago.
The idea was to bring color and joy to the people of the city by intervening with art in some heavily traveled streets. We were not sure what would happen, what would people think of it, or how they would react. Luckily, when the “Benetton Mural” was done, we received really nice compliments, and even gratitude!
That experience turned out so well that Benetton has decided to repeat it, on a much larger scale. This time, the place chosen to be painted is the underpass of the Escuela Militar bridge, where thousands of people pass by everyday.

So it’s already been a couple of weeks since Estanpintando∆ started their painting job, and they have drawn a lot of attention from the media. Sure, a 400m2 project is hard to ignore, but what amazes us the most is the real effect that it has on people: now we can feel a better mood in the air, as if negativity has been blown away.
We believed from the beginning that art and colors were going to make a difference, and now we can see we were right. We only hope this project can reach more and more people everyday for many years, and that maybe, we’ll be able to do it again somewhere else.
