I am actually on the second trip to continue my documentary project World Textiles & Artisans I told you about on the Benetton United blogs platform. This is a journey to discover some of the world textile crafts and its artists, as a web-documentary with a website updated following the new reports.

After a foray into the lands of the Middle Atlas of Morocco, here I am in Cambodia to discover the Southeast Asian silks. I landed in Phnom Penh, the capital of the country. The contrast with the Paris winter is really striking, here it is tropically hot and humid. Phnom Penh is a bustling city with lots of traffic, motorcycles, cars and constant noise.

Sometimes when you travel so far, it’s nice to start the trip with a little sweetness, I found myself a nice shelter for my first days in this hotel The 240, near the Royal Palace, which also offers a quiet organic restaurant called Naturae, where you can have a delicious breakfast with natural products, organic drinks, a good tea with lemongrass, before embarking on the city visit. My new adventures to be continued soon!
