I remember that in the 90’s Baseball hats were fashionable, but I could not bend the visor so I asked my older friends to help.
Even today I love collecting hats (and hair accessories in general), not as a shelter from the sun, rain or cold winter, but as a genuine accessory in my outfit.
But something has changed. The visors have become rigid and big, huge, flashy! Hats now transmit messages, love, style, hate, boy, girl, there are many words that you will find printed on these street-style accessories of 2013.
I love them and when I don’t wear one I feel almost naked! Some friends kidding me, ask me to be more feminine and less “rapper” but I think you can wear hats with extreme femininity. I just think of Rita Ora and her outfits, in which a snapback hat almost always appears, often worn backwards (back in time).
