I, Max Kiryanov, in January 2012 became an official blogger of United Blogs of Benetton in Russia. In order for you to know me better, I’ll write a little about myself.
I have received professional training in educational institutions in different countries, among them: Stanford University, The European Institute of Design (Istituto Europeo di Design, Milan) and others. I am a multiple winner of international and Russian competitions in the field of design. My first award was received from the hands of Prince Charles in 2002.
At this point, I have published three books in my Moscow, Yaroslavl and in Germany about fashion and PR-technologies. October 14, 2011 I was awarded a Ph.D. degree on the results of a successful defence of a thesis on “Socio-cultural and aesthetic aspects of morphogenesis in the fashion of the last third of XX century.” Since January 2012 I began to read lectures at the National Research University of the Government of the Russian Federation Higher School of Economics.
Previously, I lectured on the history of fashion in the art project Art MOL with the support of the Department of Culture of Moscow, as well as in the annual exhibition of FACES & LACES, dedicated to street fashion, subcultures and alternative contemporary art.
I would be glad if you would tell us briefly about yourself in the comments on this post.
