Hello, hello! It’s Monday, and in the morning, there’s nothing better than waking up gently and laying your eyes on the images of photographer Eric Cahan, from his Sky series.
From dawn till dusk, in the few minutes that separate day from night, this New York based artist travels extensively to shoot this series of spectacular skies from all around the world, a magnificent work on light and the ephemeral. His pictures play with light and composition.
Each day offers a different sky, in the southern or northern hemisphere. Colors are more saturated and almost fluorescent in those moments before or after dark.
And if these pictures seem unreal, Eric Cahan says he almost didn’t use any photoshop! Only a few filters and a lot of patience to capture the sky at its strangest moment, as colorful and atmospheric possible.
