There’s a new culinary trend that is taking over Italy and that in my Milan is already an absolute obsession: the brunch!
A typically British and American tradition, brunch represents a middle ground between breakfast and lunch, as its name suggests. What do you eat for brunch then, you may ask. Well, the menu is wide ranging: you can have sweets and cakes as well as meat, cheese, cold cuts and chips.
Here in Italy we have a passion for pancakes with maple syrup, but a lot of people go for a tasty hamburger with french fries and lots of sauce! In a real brunch everything is served with good filter coffee, of course!
I wish you a nice meal!
