In these past months we’ve talked about having plants in our environment, from a vertical DIY garden, air plants, or how to repot plants at home, but none of those ideas compares in originality with today’s topic: How to make a moss graffiti.

The first time I saw them I thought it was the same logic used with vertical gardens, but then I read a little bit more and discovered that moss didn’t really need any soil to stay put, that’s why it’s so easy to spray it, use it as living paint or making a stencil on the wall. Just like that!

The recipe is pretty easy, and you can do it at home. You will need: 1 can of beer, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, several clumps of garden moss, a plastic container, a blender and a paintbrush (or stencil).

Once you have the ingredients, mix them in the blender until smooth and creamy. Pour everything into the container, go outside and chose a spot to do your art. Then use the brush and make the design you want. Remember to keep it moist, spray some water gently. In a few days you will see how everything starts to take form.
