In Wrestling we are more with the technical side (the clean wrestlers that never cheat) and we don’t quite get the fascination of the rough ones.
However, what we do understand well is the fascination for wrestling. We’re big fans!
Just like in other sports with a strong scenic component (think about pole fitness) wrestling has its fame and is surrounded by its own mystique, but it’s a sport open to anyone who wants to practice it.
Pictures that accompany this post were taken during the children’s training session at the Nuevo Jordán Gym, also known as La Meca del Boxeo en México.
A gym in the middle of México City (at 36 Buentono Street, Historic Center, near Salto del Agua subway station) in which they offer boxing lessons, wrestling and bodybuilding.
How many of you have wanted to throw yourselves from the third rope? We accept that on one hand it looks attractive, but on the other side we are cowards, so we better take it easy and instead we’ll go for a torta at a famous diner near the gym (if you want to go, find it in this post).
But if you are a natural wrestler or even an amateur wrestler, visit Nuevo Jordan’s official website and who knows, maybe you’ll end up making pirouettes in the ring.
