When I saw New York I just said “I should live here for a while”. Is not possible to resist the magic of New York City.
When you’re walking in the big streets and between the huge buildings, you can feel yourself in Gossip Girl. Especially when you’re walking down 5th Avenue, here everyone looks like they’re in Gossip Girl.
One of the must-see symbols of New York City is the Statue of Liberty; I chose the wrong day. But time was limited, so even though the weather was foggy, I went to see the giant statue. Of course, it was worth it. I always see it in films and TV series, those kinds of things, but taking a closer look was really exciting.
Central Park is a huge park in the heart of New York City. In fact, I’m not sure if just calling it a park does it justice. It is so great and it is so beautiful…
When you go into the park it is very easy to move away from the crowds and the noise of the city. People are playing sports, lying on the grass, escaping from the bustle of the city, in short, it’s a great place to people watch.
Times Square is crowded at any time of the day. Whether you go there in the middle of the night or the early hours of the morning, you will see people. This huge square is totally decorated with ads and the glare from them is super bright and colorful. It is really fun to see this continuous activity.
If you want to eat Italian-style pizza in New York City, there is one place everyone tells you to go, Lombardi’s Pizza. It is absolutely wonderful.
If you would like to see every aspect of New York, you are really going to need to spend a lot of time there.
