I think this is the closest I can get to Tangerine Tango, Pantone’s color of the year for 2012 (I’ve tried on the color several times). Only rusty red and Nantucket have enough patience for me.
That is why, I have made sure that my outfit is as red as it can get: red on red!
Red (with yellow) is the color of fire. Red is probably also apt for the extremely hot summer Manila has been experiencing the past few months. As you can see, just a few photos out have already caused me to perspire.
I have incorporated the color gold in my ensemble to complete the image of fire, and chestnut brown so I can at least recall memories of chestnuts roasting in December. When the air is cooler and a lot more pleasant!
