Spring’s here (remember to store away all your velvet clothes now) and we wanted to tell you a little bit about how seriously people take the new season in the city of Chicago.
To celebrate the arrival of the spring, the city is filled with hundreds of thousands of tulips.

We find this city quite beautiful all flowered up. The locals seem to think the same, as do the many tourists who go out just to enjoy the view of the tulips. And the icing on the cake of this cute event is that when the tulips are withdrawn from the streets, they are given to the residents. You can take home a piece of spring in shape of a bulb and also the instructions to take care of it properly.
How does your city celebrate the arrival of spring? Do you usually do something special or do you go to some place to “recharge your energy”? Tell us in the comments!
