One of the many expositions is [‘werk, sh äp], this is a temporary store located in the centre of Arnhem which is run and created by the Master students of ArtEZ Fashion Institute.
[‘werk, sh äp] literally means Workshop, the students chose this name because they want the visitors to see the entire design and creating process of the garments. Every designer shows his or her own collection and mood-board, therefore each visitor has the chance to see the details of their creations.
What I loved most about this concept is that each student has an individual style but also a different cultural background! We were allowed to look at the garments but also touch them and take pictures of the pieces. It was obvious to see that each garment was handmade and created with so much love and care, the designers really did an excellent job creating unique pieces. I took some amazing shots for you to look at.
