Recently we lost some talented artists – Whitney Houston and Fong Fei-fei.
It was such a pity to hear that sad and startling news. We used to hear their tender voices, their pop songs accompanying us to pass the days. Thanks Whitney and Fei-fei, we will miss you and you will be in our minds, always.
Even though we lost these great people, we still have some good news – a new miracle has been born! Linsanity by Jeremy Lin; the whole world is crazy for one of the few Asian Americans in NBA history, and the first American player in the league to be of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.
It’s not so easy to become a super basketball player, Lin works harder than others. In the beginning, people didn’t pay close attention to him, until on February 4, 2012, Lin had 25 points, five rebounds, and seven assists — all career-highs — in a 99–92 Knicks victory over the New Jersey Nets.
Lin not only united Knicks fans but also people who can’t play or don’t know basketball.
He is awesome and amazing. Associated Press called Lin “the most surprising story in the NBA”. Knicks fans developed nicknames for him along with a new lexicon inspired by his name, Lin: “It’s Official: Linsanity Is for Real”.
