For six days, I was in Nottingham, United Kingdom, to visit a friend. It was like a dream. You may think how could such a small city be a dream?
But if you raise your head and look at the amazing architecture as soon as you land in the city; eat fresh ‘Black Angel Spaghetti’ at Jamie’s, the restaurant of the naughty English boy, the Naked chef, and try some real Italian food; go to Nash, an amazing design furniture store and meet the princess of the store, the cutest baby ever, India; and visit Nottingham Castle, the home of Robin Hood, Nottingham will be like a dream for you as well!
After walking around and seeing so much, I’m guessing that you are hungry. Then let’s eat! Would you like to have a genuine English breakfast at a pub called The Square? Or try out the coconut chicken, Mojito and other tastes of the Latin America cuisine? Or would you prefer a taste from the streets like Robin Hood Jacket Potatoes, cupcakes or the special candy from Sugacane?
Now that you are full, it’s time to walk around and discover the city! Are you too tired? I’m hearing ‘we’re tired!’ from the crowd. Then it’s time to enjoy the peaceful and sunny Arboretum Park.
There are so many more things to do in this small, students’ city. The nightlife is alive and hot! If you want to dance until the first lights of the morning, you should go to Oceana. But if you prefer a quiet conversation, sipping your Guinness you should try out the best pubs, Bodega, The Orange Tree and the Rescue Rooms.
