Christmas is fast approaching and as I have a couple of kids who remind me of the fact every other minute, I can’t forget it.
“Mommy: our neighbors have their Christmas tree up already and we don’t.” To which I fearfully respond, “there’s still a month left, please”.
We have to bring out the tree, search for the ornaments we don’t have anymore, go shopping for ornaments for the tree and spaces around the house – all of which is a significant amount of work – all while still several days from the actual holiday.
Nonetheless, looking for inspiration on design sites, I discovered that Christmas and decorating the house, as a family activity on a Saturday afternoon, can be a lot of fun.
Here are some ideas I found to be awesome, practical, charming, so much so, I might even try one. Why not?
