If you are planning your next vacation with a small budget, and don’t know what to do, where to go, but you like the countryside life, this may be the solution for you! Of course, Woofing is not the latest news, but it never hurts to remember it, or present it to those who don’t know what it is.
The WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) is an association of organic farm listings around the world, where anyone can go and stay for a limited time with free food and shelter in exchange for 4 hours of voluntary work.
During this period, the woofers learn about sustainable organic farming techniques, and several processes that are experienced on the farm. The farmers in return, receive extra hands to help them with their work.

Many young people travel to other countries using this system, and the goal is, besides helping the farmers, to learn new cultures, meet new people, connect with animals and nature. If you are interested about this travel style, you can visit the WWOOF official website.
