One of my dearest co-workers has been battling breast cancer since the end of last year. She has undergone surgery and multiple chemotherapy sessions and still comes in to work every week. Her courage and strength make her a hero in my eyes, so I wanted to do something to honor her as Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end. I figured that if pro football players could wear pink, then so could we. I rallied all of our employees to wear pink today in honor of Eva, as well as all breast cancer survivors. My Benetton sweater was the perfect way to promote the cause!
