Gone with the winter

This winter expect to see hints and splurges of a British love affair seeping through for a smart yet practical wardrobe. Man autumn winter 2009-2010 preview

July means summer, but a glance at what the future holds is never a bad thing.  The Benetton men’s collection will start the autumn season with a series of soft ideas, from the light bomber jacket with a padded jersey lining, to the micro-checked shirt and flat-front trousers, or the cotton sweater with rugby stripes, zip and hood.

Love the color

Autumn trees, sunsets, hot chocolate, candy stores, knit patterns, confetti, street art, youth, a love – Everything! It’s all in there; Colors of a joy that grows and spreads within all of us. Hues which magically spark on a light to love, to share, to attach. A sense of self and fulfillment.

Over the years now, very much has been said of Fashion and Color; “Color is the life of fashion”,  they say. And just as well, much more continues to be said  of Winter and the Lack of Color.
Yet again- and confusingly so; if Color be the life fashion, and if fashion be that which lives on throughout all the four seasons of each year, then shall it not be said that this Winter,-  as was with others before it,- There will be Color!

Feminine always, uninteresting never.

The coming winter season is full of interesting proposals to fill the UCB women’s wardrobe with original and amusing ideas. Countless different looks for one woman to take her through the different moments of the day. Asymmetries can be found in tricot sweaters, perfect with trouser suits; apparently traditional twin-sets, but with new colour matches and jacquard patterns; a bohemian touch for the most romantic women; and lastly, the chance for her to transform her image with the new shapes and tones of the down jackets.
