As a photography enthusiast with aims to take my skills to the next level, learning new tips and tricks from friends, on youtube, discussion forums and of course on blogs.  Night photography is especially challenging for me, fiddling with desired and accurate settings are always painstakingly challenging as an amateur.  Not exactly an idealistic skill for me.

Recently I stumbled upon a website, Photojojo a photography online store selling quirky photo gifts and gears for (all levels) photographers.  One of their products have caught my attention, the Bokeh Kit!  Bokeh (blurred in Japanese) is that beautiful out of focus that appears when your lens is set to a shallow depth of field (i.e 50mm lense with f/1.4).  The Bokeh Kit provides a disc of any shape slip over the lens, it turns those out of focus lights into interesting given sparkling shape.

I have prepared mine using an old card ripped from an old look book, cut out a lens size disc and a tiny a shape of a butterfly in the middle what looked like a bow or a moth.  See result tomorrow.  Satisfied.
