Columbia Road Flower Market, part 2

by Be-Blogger U.K. on: January 11th, 2012

As promised, here is a concluding series of the Columbia Road Flower Market part 2.  Whilst it is a popular flower market opens on Sundays, punters (London slang for customer), tourists, photographers and lomographers flock to the market for freshly picked flowers, bulbs or simply admire them…and it is a perfect location spot for street style bloggers/photographers to hunt for fashionistas for their blogs.

Never thought I’d see chillies planted in pots (I thought they grow on trees) nor existed in cold winter season, I bet home grown chillies taste better than in supermarkets.

First time seeing cotton plant in real life.

There is a stall where you can buy seeds and bulbs to grow your own pot plants indoor or outdoor.

Christmas fruit and vegetable wreath created by one of the stall holders.

Well, I wanted to be part of the crowd so I bought a bunch of yellow Chrysanthemums.  Stay tuned for home made DIY Chrysanthemum tea post…coming soon!
