Shopping for vintage

by Be-Blogger U.K. on: March 15th, 2012

Yesterday I took a visit to Beyond Retro‘s second largest London vintage (flagship) store in Dalston, North/East London.  Officially opened on September 2011, they transformed the disused warehouse space (it was literally empty for many years) into a vintage store, with a coffee shop in the next room and a stage designed for band’s gig evening events (check out their blog post for behind the scenes) but keeping the building’s original feature.

With abundance of vintage apparels and accessories from the 50s to the 90s, they are affordable I mean affordable – a 1970s pussy bow blouse is £14-19, a 1980s clutch bag is £14, a designer MAC coat £60+.

I bought this beige patchwork medium sized flat clutch bag and I’m amazed how my Canon 5D MK2 and Nikon 1 camera managed to fit in this bag.
