Has Benetton read my mind? A few days ago I received a package from the Benetton HQ in Italy, in it contained a light mesh tote bag and a knitted mobile phone case. The summer colour palette sums up my current spring wardrobe – Khaki, neon blue, pastel blue, purple and accents of orange and yellow.
I’ve compiled an outfit to match the colour palette, unfortunately I cannot find my orange clutch which I use t accommodate my tablet and yellow Benetton sweater, both misplaced, they will one day turn up in my hands. After a careful browse through my overly compact wardrobe and thinking what outfit I’d wear around this time of year, yes the weather has slide a little but feels like a chilled bottle of fizzy pop. So here’s my spring outfit to match the accessories:
Left: Khaki gabardine trench coat. Right: Aqua/mint blue waterproof sport jacket.
Left: Denim shirt. Right: Khaki slim fitted trousers.
Left: Mint flower headband. Right: Neon blue suede loafers.
Of course you need to customise these two items by tying a vintage stripey silk scarf on the handle strap and my prized blue headphones and (pink) ipod for the mobile phone case.
Stay tuned for the Benetton Style: Functional acessories, part 2. Have you read Silvia’s (Benetton Italy) feature on her outfit post?
