Lazy Oaf’s kawaii window display of tropical birds intricately hand crafted by Fred Butler.
Somewhere behind the thick clouds of near disappearing summer, a rainbow glowball led me to a place which in hope that colour would bring London back to life.
I had the pleasure to attend Lazy Oaf’s launch party to celebrate their jewellery collaboration with Fred Buter, better known as the accessory/prop designer who made the iconic orgami telephone hat piece in the Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ music video. Fred’s collaborative pieces are inspired by her bespoke AW10 collection ‘Dodecahedron Collisions’ transforming her handmade 3D origami pieces into wearable layered perspex jewellery (for the first time) available at an accessible price point…with geo flower hair piece starting at £30.
Left: Tri Dodec necklace £38. Middle: Peacock necklace £40. Right: Dedecahedron necklace £45.
Geo flower hair clip £30 as mentioned, and I want it.
A selection of Pomp De Franc enticing cupcakes inspired by the collaborative pieces.
